Our Company & Process

Cardiac Services Group was founded in Belfast in 1969. It is at the forefront of supplying and supporting diagnostic and measurement equipment in Ireland and the UK.

Cardiac Services became part of the SISK GROUP in August 2006 and operates under the umbrella structure, SISK Healthcare.

Michael was appointed to the position of Managing Director of Cardiac Services Group in April 2010 with overall responsibility for the Ireland and UK business. Prior to this appointment, Michael was joint Managing Director of Tekno Surgical which he cofounded with John Osborne in 1995. Prior to the establishment of Tekno Surgical, Michael worked with Irish Hospital Supplies as an Area Sales Manager in Dublin. Michael studied Mechanical Engineering in Galway.

Mark is a Senior Director within the SISK Healthcare Group, working in the Healthcare industry for over 25 years. He has a wide spectrum of experience managing 70 people locally within Ireland, across a wide range of disciplines from Technical, Sales, Clinical Application Specialists, Clinical IT and Logistics. With over 10 years operational experience managing a multi-million MTES, specialising in Patient Care and Monitoring Solutions, procurement, managing end user expectations, implementation cycles and providing technical and operational support. Mark joined Cardiac Services in 2002, having previously managed his own Medical business.

Mark joined Cardiac Services in 1994 and has over 25 years’ experience working within the Healthcare Industry in the UK, during which time he has delivered multi-disciplinary projects across a wide range of stakeholders, including projects at pioneering NHS Hospitals helping to implement cutting edge patient therapies. Mark is responsible for managing all aspects of the value chain; commercial and operational aspects of the GB Division and currently manages a team of 24 people, which includes sales, order fulfilment and operations. Working with influential KOL’s, supplying innovative medical diagnostic and therapeutic solutions to improve patient outcomes. Organising networking events for international medical professionals who are leaders in their chosen fields.

Richard joined Cardiac Services as Service & Education Director in 2013 and is responsible for delivering all business aspects of Clinical Engineering, Clinical Training and Clinical IT Departments. Prior to this Richard held a number of Service Management roles in healthcare in the 37 years since he graduated with an NCEA qualification in Electronic Engineering from Dundalk Institute of Technology. Previous roles included 21 years managing the Service Department on the Island of Ireland for the Diagnostic Imaging Division of a large multinational company, Siemens Medical

Scott Treat

Senior Business Manager


Scott is the Senior Business Manager for Cardiac Services for the Island of Ireland where he has accountability for all commercial and marketing activity.  Scott has worked in Cardiac Services for 8 years, pervious roles included Healthcare Solutions Manager and Hospital Division Sales Manager.  Prior to joining Cardiac Services Scott worked for the NHS in Northern Ireland for 14 years.  Scott has a clinical background specialising in Emergency Care and Resuscitation.  Scott worked as a Clinical Services Manager for Resuscitation Services across an NHS Trust and also worked as an Acute Service’s Reconfiguration Manager where he successfully managed a large scale reconfiguration of Hospital Services across an NHS Trust.  Scott has a BSc (Hons) in Health and Social Care Management and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA).

Ronan joined Cardiac Services in 2004 as part of the IT team in the Dublin office. From there he moved into various roles working in multiple facets of the business including training & education, service and finally in sales. With over 10 years’ experience in hospital sales he has taken on the role of Sales Manager for the Hospital division driving a small team of high performing sales representatives which encompasses selling of Critical Care solutions & Clinical IT systems for hospitals across Ireland.

Robert joined Cardiac Services in October 2009 as Sales Manager for the Pre Hospital Division and is responsible for all commercial and operational aspects of the division on the island of Ireland. Prior to this Robert held senior management and business unit positions with a number of multinationals that include Wincanton, CEMEX and BOC Gases. He has over 20 years’ experience of the healthcare market in both Ireland and the UK with BOC / Linde and has experience of working in the UK and European markets. Robert holds an Economics degree and is an MBA graduate.

Colm joined Cardiac Services in 1989 as a Field Service Engineer. Over the past 27 years he has gained a considerable experience on a wide range of medical product supplied by Cardiac Services.  He currently holds the position of Service Manager overseeing all activities of our engineering teams. Colm is responsible for the delivery of service contracts, breakdown calls and installation of new equipment. Colm is works closely with our Clinical Sales team providing technical assistance with pre sales and customer quotations.

Logistics Manager


John joined Cardiac Services in 2004 as Logistics Manager for Belfast and subsequently assumed responsibility for all our warehousing operations including our Dublin and Northampton distribution centres. He previously spent 12 years with Fujitsu Telecommunication’s (Ireland) with operational responsibility for repair activities including Production management, Procurement, Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and ERP/IT systems for the facility. In his current multidiscipline role John is responsible for all Logistic operations, procurement and inventory planning in all three sites. John holds a HNC in Engineering and a Masters in Manufacturing Management.

Dermot joined Cardiac Services in September 2011 and is responsible for the Clinical Education Team, Healthcare Informatics Projects and Installation planning. Dermot was employed in the NHS in Northern Ireland, after having completed RGN training in Belfast City Hospital, Dermot went on to specialise in Cardiology and Resuscitation. Dermot’s last post in the NHS was as Clinical Lead for Strategic Change and Efficiency in the Western Trust. Dermot has completed a BSc in Cardiology and an MSc in Communication, Training and Development. Business.

Tom joined SISK Healthcare in August 2010 as General Manager. Prior to joining SISK Healthcare Tom spent 17 years at Intel Ireland in various senior management roles including Procurement, Finance and Engineering with both European and Global level responsibilities.  Tom is responsible for delivering operational excellence across SISK Healthcare and ensuring profitable growth and operation of the company.  Tom holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree and is also an MBA graduate.
